I just had one of the best weekends anyone could ask for. Almost all of my closest friends joined me for a birthday celebration/chill weekend at the river. I love my friends, I love my family, and I love my life.

Spoiler alert: My boyfriend IS REALLY cute. Yesterday for my birthday he gave me two very thoughtful and amazing presents. One, he made himself because he is crafty and sweet.

Kewl Story Bro

Last night The Lady and I went to Balliceaux for a snack and a fancy drink.  I just love that place.

Lightening almost struck this tower.  It was for sure the most insane lightning bolt I have ever seen.

Free Kicks

My friend Kristin  is amazingly awesome.  Along with being a super-talented seamstress/scientist, she also has the most finely tuned radar for thrift store scores.  Luckily for me, she also has size 7 feet that did not fit into these puppies. Score for me!

I made a pie

Last night I practiced my pie making skills.  As it turns out, I don't have any.  My pie was more like key lime pudding.  Tasty, but not the kind of thing you might serve at a wedding... looks like I better try, try again.
